Poole Aura

Reflective of our dedication and expertise in the art of decorative glazing, we’re proud to launch our latest pattern, Aura. Pushing the boundaries of design, Aura features a distinctive monochrome pattern. This depth of colour is exhibited on a textured surface, adding to the drama of this new ceramic collection.

Combining traditional hand-crafted techniques with new glaze methods, Aura includes all of our renowned Poole shapes and gives a stunning, multi-tonal finish. The range also features our new Poole Bird shape, truly showcasing the decorative appeal of this pattern.

The design was continually refined, and the layers of glaze skilfully applied and reapplied to create the final monochrome colour palette. A brand new and innovative shade for Poole, Aura adds a new level of depth and tone to our decorative ranges. The final colour combines light and dark for a contrastive finish, whilst enabling you to style with or without colour. Our Design Director Richard Eaton says, “Monochrome is a forever trend, and we wanted to utilise our in-house skills and techniques to produce an original range that captured the essence of this movement. Aura uses a select combination of spraying and hand-painting to form a lustrous effect, reminiscent of a shadowy night’s sky.”

The perfect addition for any Poole collector or a great starter collection, Aura is wonderfully bold with shimmering bands and raindrop detailing within the pattern. The black and white contrast colour is eternally modern whilst the shapes are elegant and timeless.
